Isla is a psychologist who has experience working with individuals including children, adolescents and adults, from a variety of backgrounds. She has previously worked in school settings and private practice.
Her therapeutic approach is friendly, warm and relaxed, and aims to provide an open and accepting environment for all clients.
Isla uses a range of approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy. She has worked with individuals experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and difficulties relating to personality, stress, trauma, suicidal ideation and self-harm.
Isla holds a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours from Griffith University and a Masters of Clinical Psychology from Bond University.
