Meditation – rolling practice group

Learn how to meditate, connect with others and strengthen your practice

Solitude and silence. Mention meditation and these sentiments often spring to mind. But while it’s a deeply personal practice, it need not be experienced alone. In fact, practicing together, particularly when starting out has many benefits.

  • Learn meditation and mindfulness essentials from a professional
  • Establish healthy habits
  • Practice regularly, set clear intentions and enjoy the support of others

Anyone can join and a typical session includes –

  • 20 to 40 minutes of guided meditation
  • Time to reflect and ask questions – individually and as a group
  • Time to relax with a tea before and after each session

Why meditate?

From improving mindfulness and self-compassion through to reducing stress, meditation can provide us with helpful tools for navigating life’s challenges.

  • Commencing: 9 March, with sessions held every Monday from 6:30pm – 7:30pm
  • Location: Level 1, Stores Building, Brisbane Powerhouse, 119 Lamington Street, New Farm
